The 116th United States Army Band, a unit of the Georgia National Guard from Marietta, will perform live on Sunday, July 2, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Howard Citation of Musical Excellence for Military Concert Bands. Originally founded in 1915, the Parris Island Marine Band is based at the U.S. On Saturday, July 1 at 1 p.m., the Parris Island Marine Band will offer a patriotic performance at Martin Luther King, Jr. Plant Riverside District will sponsor the annual Savannah’s Waterfront Independence Day Fireworks Show, which will light up the sky over the Savannah River on Tuesday, July 4 at 9:15 p.m. “We’re delighted to offer the best views of the July 4th fireworks over the Savannah River and look forward to powerful live performances by the Parris Island Marine Band and the 116th United States Army Band.” Kessler, chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection. “We invite locals and visitors to join us for five days and nights of patriotic fun at Plant Riverside District,” said Richard C. along Savannah’s historic riverfront at 400 W.
